Saddle Yak Is Back!

 

 

I finally finished coloring it.  I sort of took a break from this one cause I felt like I was just getting bogged down with all the tiny details, but I got back to it (or back in the saddle, heh) and finished it and I think it came out great!

I think this acrylic painting came out pretty good.  Maybe I could spin it into a new header image for my blog.

More Artwork I've Done Lately

Top:  The Hollow Knight bug on a bench in Hollow Knight.  Which is a really great game and I really like it.

Middle:  My copy of an illustration by Beatrix Potter for Appley Dappley, which is one of her nursery rhymes, and also the name of the collection it features in.

Bottom:  The original illustration, for comparison, and because we can always use more Beatrix Potter in our lives.

A Tree Is Nice

I painted this with oils, mostly a quick way to up my left over green paint from another painting I'm working on.  But I quite like it, it reminds me of a book: A Tree Is Nice, which is a beautiful children's book that I really enjoyed when I was little.
